Our founder member cum president Mrs. Debjaya Sarkar’s love, respect, skill & dedication towards Indian Classical dance especially Kathak Dance inspired and motivated a few social workers & well-wishers to create a platform for the artists (especially dance artists). On 10th July 2010 they organized a cultural program in an auditorium. Since then, we observe 10th July as a foundation day of our organization. Between 2010 & 2016, Mrs. Debjaya Sarkar enriches her skill I, Kathak Dance under the guidance of Nationally Accredited Professionals, Guru Malti Shyam (Guru of Kathak Kendra , Delhi) and Guru Madhumita Roy Kolkata and other renowned music/Kala experts and she followed age-old especially Guru Shishya Parampara to pass whatever knowledge she earned to the children, youths and novice artists of duars region specially in Alipurduar. That platform, after a six years journey, has become registered under the West Bangle Societies Registration Act, 1961, and then started its organized and formal journey of the organization. The purpose behind its establishment was to direct the attention of the community people toward fine arts or Classical Dance.
